Sure, if that is all you posted. But you said Williams was not as talented as Perry. Ranking comparisons between different classes does not prove your point.

For anyone that hasn't seen anything on him, here's a little highlight reel ... he looks very fundamentally sound to me, which is nice to see !!

Travis Perry’s class was much stronger than this class. This is one of the bad classes. Watching a highlight video of Mason doesn’t prove your point. I saw Travis Perry out up 40 points vs reed Sheppard in HS. You know reed, the #3 pick in the nba draft a few years ago. Is that no competition.
I can show you a Brandon Garrison and Jasper Johnson 20 minute highlight video from Kentucky that would have you hype, excited, talking about #9. Highlight videos lie.
I definitely understand your point, but I think Williams is a fundamentally sound basketball player. I may be wrong, but I think he can be a reliable, ball-handling, back-up point guard. I do not expect him to play more than ten (10) minutes a game, if even that many. Clearly, a role player, of course.
Fair enough. I have no problem with him on the team, but I’m not overly excited like some people are who thinks he is Keaton wagler. I wanted Deron rippey. I wanted tay Kinney. And several others in high school before him at PG.
Let’s give him some playing time before we condemn him to D3 level.
I would imagine he has had an opportunity to play with and against some very good players.
I never said Travis was bad or did not play against good competition. I said his averages for the adidas tourney were not as impressive as Mason’s for the EYBL. YOU are the one who said Travis was better. I don’t think that you know that for a fact and I don’t think you have enough information to have a credible opinion. You know a lot about one and not much about the other.
It's early and we've not seen Williams in action against older players, but for perspective, here are some Freshmen playing times:
Jasper Johnson 12.0 mpg in 35 games
Trent Noah 11.1 mpg in 24 games
Collin Chandler 10.4 mpg in 30 games
Travis Perry 9.7 mpg in 31 games
Accordingly, I can see easily see MW averaging around 10 minutes a game, as Diallo will need rest, may get into foul trouble, but hopefully is never injured.
Just out of curiosity and for the FUN of it, I looked up Tyler UIis (one of my all-time favorites) and noted he averaged 23.8 mpg in 37 games during his first year as a Wildcat. I am NOT predicting that Williams will be as good as Ulis was, of course, but his game strikes me as very similar in style ... well-rounded.
