You have a good point but you have to be fair about it also. I'm going to go out on the limb and say:
For those that quarantined, the great majority did not get covid.
For those that practiced social distancing, the great majority did not get covid.
For those that wore a mask, the great majority did not get covid.
For those that got the vaccine, the great majority did not get covid.
I also went to all fan allowed home games, always had a beer handy along with popcorn. Never wore a mask in the stands!!

Kroger is not mandating it but requesting people to mask up when shopping…Walmart is being more enforcing with vendors in certain locations with it but not customers yet that I know of down in the southern part
Lewisburg is business as normal
Eisenhower Beckley is enforcing mask on vendors
MacArthur Walmart is business as usual
Summersville is enforcing mask on vendors
Flatwoods is enforcing mask on vendors
Not heard about Fayetteville or Princeton
Also just read a report from the Massachusetts outbreak concerning vaccinated people catching COVID-19 stating the deaths in those instances were people with underlying conditions and average ages being around 82 FYI
This will end up like the flu in that every season we will be guessing which variant will be running rampant.
If there's a delta booster, I'll take it. If there's a lambda booster, pass it on. Let's fight this thing and try to get past it... And as far as attending games this season, if they make you wear a mask, I just hope they sell beers that you can easily drink under your gaiter. Fingers crossed.

It’s interesting that many people who make comments like that one also endorse just going with herd immunity.
I think the WVU admin. will take the stance that if you have been vaccinated it will be a personal choice as to whether you wear a mask or not. But, if you have not been vaccinated, you will be strongly encouraged to wear a mask.
If it is true about the Delta variant being xxx times more contagious than the regular covid, then being at a ballgame screaming and yelling, it could present a dangerous situation for fans .
In this instance it was said ironically by me to a poster I grew up with. Just me yukking it up with a right winger. (I’m a libtard)
Not sure if serious. COVID is never going away. No matter what happens. If we were 90% vaccinated in the US & masked up everywhere it would still be out there. It’s not going away, no matter what we do.

That Mass case that CDC used to highlight vaccinated people getting COVID (something like 700 vaccinated people got it). It was July 4 the weekend.. something called "bearfest" in Provincetown Mass which I understand is Rehoboth Beach on steroids for Gay men. Of those 700 plus vaccinated positive patients... 89 percent were Male and over 40. Something tells me the contact that caused this spreading event wasn't the kind you get standing in line at Kroger.... For whatever reason few media sources have mentioned this. I guess they think they'd be critiqued for focusing on the lifestyles of the patients... But I think we'd agree the same thing could happen at a Hetero Swingers resort as well and again the point would be this isn't ROUTINE contact that cause vaccinated people in such a large number to contract COVID.

Exactly....miller lites and popcorn were able to be stretched out a long time..... And while they held up the signs for masks, no one ever singled anyone out and said something (at least from what i saw in section 104)
I was called out at the last game by some old hag of an usher. I had a coke in my hand and no one within 20 feet of me and she verbally harassed me until I put the mask on. I called the AD'S office on Monday and expressed my extreme displeasure and let them know my money spends anywhere and doesn't have to be given to the mac. The apologies were pretty profuse.

I’m considered a vendor (UPS) but I’m not wearing a mask again this summer. It’s too hot for that ****. I took the damn shots. That’s all I can do. Not wearing a mask anymore

Despite being true from a statistical standpoint. a whole lot of people have died from it.
For those who won’t wear masks (especially those who have not been vaccinated), why is it such a big deal to wear a mask or face covering? I know it’s hot…blah blah blah…but seriously, why do people refuse to do it when it can help put an end to this. Vaccinations are the best defense but if people choose not to have something injected into their bodies, that’s their choice. However, wearing a mask is not invasive and has no side effects. So I am asking sincerely why is it such a big deal?
daughter said she was told not because of uptick in cases but to protect the university students from getting an uptick. First mayor in state to do so.
I know many on here don't want to hear it, but my 40 year old daughter is still very, very sick eight weeks from diagnosis with the vaccine. She cannot even lift a cup of juice. Her friend who was not vaccinated and with 3 young daughters has been hospitalized over a week on oxygen and declining. He wished he had gotten it. My daughter had minor symptoms the first two weeks and then went downhill with probably every symptom there is. The worst is muscle pains and severe weakness.
