I agree. When my kids are playing sports, I have given them the "OK" sign since birth. I'm not going to change that because one person one time tried and failed to make it into a W/P symbol. So I'm with you on that.all it takes is one nut to make up something like the ok sign is a sign for white supremacy and then if it sticks it spreads like wildfire but in reality it has no validity except some person said so
With that said, it was never associated with Nebraska, so it doesn't warrant press coverage. I'll give ten bucks to the first person who can find any reference anywhere in a media guide, fan guide, old news clippings, old photos, videos, or anything else showing that "OK" was ever a sponsored hand symbol like the "hook 'em" at UT, guns up at TTech, etc. Because it was never a thing.
