Maryland is up 14-0 on Minnesota. That win may turn out to be a solid win. Division is certainly open for the taking.

Looks like Minnesota forgot to set their alarm clock. I would guess P.J. wakes them pretty soon, but quite a start for the Terps.

At the very least, this will show how much better our defense is than Minny's

From what I can tell, Minnesota has taken a big step back on the defensive side of the ball relative to last season. Their front Seven/run defense looks especially vulnerable. Announcers just said Minnesota lost seven starters from last year’s defensive unit. This bodes well for us. I really think tomorrow’s game could be a huge turning point for NU. If we beat Iowa, I think we become the favorite to win the West.

Just win, one game at a time.

Gopher defense as bad or worse than the Terps. They haven’t stopped the Terps all night. Inexcusable turnovers and dumb as a rock penalties keeping the Terps from hanging 40+ on Minny.

Gopher offense a different story.

I wouldn't Go that far but Minny’s defense looks pretty bad.

Minnesota is OK on offense, shaky on defense. Maryland is below average at best on both sides of the ball.

Either Minnesota is really bad or we’re really good or Maryland had one helluva’ week of practice.

Maryland’s offense - not bad; our defense good; I’m sure their QB did learn a lot from our game.

Maryland’s defense - horrible. Last year we couldn’t score against air. This year we know we can score against air; I think we’ll also be strongly improved vs actual defenses.

Minnesota’s defense - shocking (to me). I wasn’t aware how much they lost from last year’s team but this year’s D is horrendous. Maryland’s level.
