I actually posted this on the round table with not too much response.
So, I’m tending to think if Maryland gets beat tonight, they come in Saturday with there heads down a little. Or if they win, maybe they take us a little lighter. Or, it doesn’t matter who wins... anyway number 24 Nebraska has a halftime lead 39–35. And now with 2 minuets to go it’s a 1 point game 71-70 but I’m really interested in the advantage in terms of a loss or win... thoughts?

I thought it was bizarre that Miles went to a 1-3-1 on that last play that Smith scored on. Maryland had already seen it during the game and attacked it effectively. Maryland definitely looked better than when they played Seton Hall. Regardless, I'm glad they won. They won't be desperate on Saturday and I think it gives us a better chance. We absolutely must keep Bruno off the offensive glass as best we can.

Think MD was a 1.5 to 2 point favorite so Vegas had a good read on both teams right now.

The stark differences between the players in the starting lineups right now is going to require RU to play very sound basketball on both ends to keep MD off the glass and get good shots on offense.

Think we are going to have to see a lot of Shaq Carter and Doorson to get rebounds.

I think we will need to play our best game of the year to win on Saturday. Thinking the first half against Michigan State x2.

In hotly contested games the winner must have some luck on their side along with go to scorers in crunch time.Nebraska and Maryland were evenly matched teams and Maryland made one more basket to win at home. They both have inside/outside scoring which Rutgers lacks on a consistent basis.

This will be the case from here on out (that we need to play our best game of the year to win).

Not to nitpick, but some of the efforts we’ve had already could be enough to beat some of the weaker B1G teams. I agreee that we will beat almost no one playing like we have lately.
