Watching this American Monster show on the Investigation Discovery channel. Ha. And will probably do another beer. Ha

It's amusing to see how much more upbeat the board is now. Nothing like good news; feeling good about tonight as well. 
I see people on the Rupp Rafter forum say they are "hearing" Bagley will stay out west and go to USC or UCLA. Or is that them simply praying to hell that's what happens??
Lot of Duke haters saying his announce me because so late in the day is a great sign he is staying out west. Do they realize he is out west too and it will only be 8:00 there......
Must admit that announce times has me a little worried. Still think we get him. Just a little weird that he would announce that late at night for a school, and majority of their fan base, where it will be close to midnight before announcement is finished.

I would not trade Duke's position with any other team.
That's true no matter what Mr. Bagley has decided. It would suck to root for any other team.
Haha I meant as to where we sit with Bagley. I will post the reasons I have after he commits (to Duke or otherwise)

That's like betting on a team to win after the game has already been played and justifying the bet no matter the outcome. No one is asking you to step on a kid's announcement. Just give your thoughts on what's likely to happen if you've actually got a relationship with the bball program or recruit which has given you some inside info.
It's the only time Sportscenter is on tonight. The Mets and Yankees play on ESPN starting at 7 ET. Prime time programming for ESPN2 and ESPNU are already set with the American Legion World Series and Fantasy Football Rankings. If Marvin wants to announce live on Sportscenter and he wants to do it tonight then he has no choice but to go on the 11 ET Sportscenter after the baseball game.
I'll live with it if he picks UCLA (or Arizona had he visited them) but if I see another great player go to another crap program like USC I'll be beside myself. At least USC will make the tourney unlike UW, LSU, and KState but I still will never understand why these guys wouldn't want to go to a Duke, UNC, UK, UCLA, Arizona, Cuse, KU type school where basketball is everything

Recruiting is very fluid & there's a lot going on today; however, as I said last night USC chatter would be heard today, but to ignore...with that said I'll be shocked if it's not Duke in the end
I'd vote next year, but don't really care all that much. Either would be fantastic.
I'll hold out my vote till after the season. But until another group of freshmen wins a national title I'll say the 2015 class was the best. The 1997 class is #2.
Not to be disrespectful to anyone, but so many are acting like Bagley's the next savior for Duke. I get it, he's supposed to be the real deal, and adding him will put Duke as probably the preseason #1 team. Whether he comes or not, Duke will still be a strong contender. I look at it like he's the lucky one by picking Duke, not us praying for him to pick us. Frankly I'll sleep just fine tonight either way.
It's hard to say since we don't know which players we'll get next season other than Tre Jones. If we have a small class next season then he'd probably help us more next season but if we have a big class next season then he'll probably help us more this season
I think it's a moot point though. He's doing this for one reason and that is to get to the NBA next June. Whether he plays college hoops this year or not remains to be seen but I can promise you he will not be playing college hoops next year.
Bring him on this year, baby. I am greedy and don't want to wait a year. Ha.

Which is why I'd like to see him playing this year for Duke. We have put ourselves in the best possible position to recruit him for 2017.
Who knows what the roster will look like in another year but it will be enormously loaded this year with Bagley.
Me too KP......I say bring it on this year and we'll worry about next season after April.
