Visiting for my first game in many years with my brother and his youngest. Are the side line seats in the secondary market worth the price or is the south end zone a just fine experience if we end up having to bail early due to youngster tiredness.

Looking forward to a great weekend.

I've not sat on the sidelines, but here is some info.

It will be hot like last Saturday, and East stands face right into the sun. Also I hear that many of those are pretty low and you can hardly see over the players. West looks better but IDK. Not looking into the sun anyway

I enjoyed the chair backs and shade that the South section provides.

Shade will be key for Saturday given the forecast (sunny/upper 80's), especially with a young one. Upper rows of west stands will be shaded for a 2:30 start (I'm in row 13) but lower rows will see a lot of sun.

A good decision. A great first experience for the youngster will not be forgotten

You can get up higher in the end zones, My seats about the 25 West sid and hard to see plays at other end of the field (Tthere are only about 14 rows so so hard to get high enough to get good sightline, In end zone you can get up higher, you might be able to see more, 230 game so west sideline in shade especially higher rows, You will be looking over the lake

Indeed, it will be the first exposure to tailgating in the West Lot. Hoping the shuttle is fairly reliable.
If not it is only about a 1 mile walk. Takes about 25 minutes. Just go over to Lincoln (one block S of Central and walk to the lake Stadium is a little South around where Tech is but about 1/4 mile East
