Not many comments. I obviously don't have the trolling powers I once possessed, now that I'm an elder statesman.
Buddy of mine in the Marshall AD told me the USC game would have been played but Doc didn't think it was best for you guys. Some would say he was afraid but I don't think it was that as much as he was thinking more about preparing for a bowl game because you guys often play in an early one.
The Gamecocks are highly beatable though. They might be glad they didn’t play Marshall. The Gamecocks are lucky to be 4-3 with wins vs lowly Vanderbilt, Missouri, Coastal Carolina and terrible Tennessee which they barely won luckily. The Gamecocks lose to anybody that has a pulse. Their 4 wins are against absolutely terrible teams and they got lucky beating Missouri and Tennessee. They suck as usual. Marshall vs Gamecocks would be close game.
