Not expected. Jay Young to RU? Hobbs and Young would be a heck of a staff
He was the early favorite. Their search has been quite for a while. Woukd have been an easy decision to promote a week ago. Maybe he still gets it.someone tweeted that as well, but I thought Young was supposed to be the coach at SB...is that not the case?

They did not give him the job yet. Could have promoted him the day Pikiell left. This is on SB, not Young. Stony Brook is s much better job.Jay Young is the Stony Brook defensive coordinator and frontcourt developer. It would be really strange if he did not get the bump to HC at Stony Brook, however, they may be a little upset that he actively sought the CCSU job. Who knows, maybe they told him he was not getting the top spot.
Also......is CCSU a better job than Stony Brook ?
