Thanks Smash, I didn't know how to post the teams in the tourney.
Even better, Traore will be playing Sat.
Traore will actually be in western Kentucky on Saturday to participate in the Marshall County Hoopfest for Dream City. His squad will play at 7:00 p.m. CT on Saturday night against Central Pointe Christian (FL) at Marshall County High School. As a side note, KSR can confirm that Shaedon Sharpe will not participate in the event for Dream City.

I'll make the Dream City game Saturday night. Have a birthday tonight at 6 pm which screws up tonight. Only missed a couple since the 90's, great event and Marshall Co does an outstanding job of getting good teams. Will let everyone know my thoughts on Traore.

Ashland doesn’t have size like a lot of the Top programs but they have shooters and can cause a lot of havoc. Just ask Huntington Prep loaded with D1 players and one of the top programs in the Country. Ashland whipped them by 15 but was up 30 plus on several occasions when they scrimmaged.

I’ll be watching Ashland’s games this weekend. Play North Gwinnett (GA class 7A) tonight at 8:30 & Ballard tomorrow night. North Gwinnett has a cpl D1 prospects, with one already committed to Clemson. Looks like they have lots of size & athleticism, too. This should be the best of Ashland’s recent teams. I watched their scrimmage against Huntington Prep a cpl weeks ago & they looked like they were already in mid season form & pounded HP, 99-82. The lead hit 15 in the 2nd qtr & HP never got any closer. HP has 6-7 D1 prospects & they’re loaded with size & athleticism. They were ranked #13 in the country in one preseason poll, but Icr which poll it is. Hoping that game can be a barometer for the season. Ashland is a fun team to watch if you get a chance to see them. They play 4 guards & their ball movement & shooting are elite at the HS level. I’m interested to see how they match up with elite competition this weekend.

Does anyone know how to buy session 5 (Sunday) tickets? For some reason, they don't have a place to buy online for that session.

I saw they lost to BG, that surprised me.
Ref called a tech on our pg for something a fan said. Then called a tech on our coach for questioning it. And it was off a double bonus foul call that should've been a jump ball. We were down 3. They got 6 free throws and the ball back with about 5 minutes to go. We couldn't recover.

The Sellars kid had 33 last night! Really happy for those kids, if Muhlenberg doesn’t win it, I hope they do!
The announcers didn’t know either team & were mocking Ashland at the start. NG jumped out to a 10-0 lead & they are much bigger & athletic than Ashland & I think Ashland was a little nervous & intimidated coming out. They were getting pushed around, turning over the ball, taking terrible shots & giving up dunk after dunk so I guess the announcers might’ve been justified a little at the time. But, they were laughing & saying it was about to get ugly, like Ashland had no business being on the same floor as NG. Kinda unprofessional, IMO.

But, Ashland settled down & made a run at the end of the 2nd qtr to take a one point lead into the half. The shots started falling & NG started to come unglued & it was glorious watching the announcers remove their feet from their mouths. But, NG looked like a college team. Two of their starters were 6-6 & 2 were 6-7 with 2-3 more off the bench who were 6-6 to 6-8. They have a good football program too & a few of them play basketball, as well, & they looked like SEC linebackers & DEs. Grown *** men. They are playing Male, right now. Ashland doesn’t play anyone taller than 6-4 so NG had a significant size advantage at every position. It was a very good win for them. Ashland has Ballard tonight but might be without their two best players. The schedule they’re playing this season is the toughest I’ve ever seen from a 16th region team in my lifetime.

Thanks for this. Made my day. I now live in Lancaster, PA but am from Ashland. Most of the time, I can watch or at least listen. They are a very talented, fun team.
