What an absurd series of comments:

- SB is still 8 DAYS AWAY
- Watts de-committed 13 days ago
- Marsette is still in play
- HUGE recruiting weekend going on right now with several kids potentially FLIPPING our way and a few other potential solid gets

...maybe do a little more homework next time before posting.
Marsette is not in play. He is going to Iowa. It is well known. The publicity of success with DBs plus Ash being a DB guru should have easily been enough to get watts to stay. I like Ash but he ended this signing class very poorly. Lost out on every major remaining target. Maryland is surging right now and we are poised to continue to be at the bottom of the division for the forseeable future. Sad!

The class is nowhere close to being "over." EPIC FAIL on your part.

You continue to prove my assertions right. I follow recruiting very closely. Give me one example of a player who we were on for a while that we landed. Zilch! Not only that we have had some major decommitments that have dropped the class dramatically.

Prove you right? Wrong. Your post was a fail. Lots can happen between now and signing day. LOTS.

Fellowtroll, you may follow recruiting closely but which team do you cheer for? Every team has kids that fail to honor their commitment. The play on the field made things tougher but if Ash can finish out with a few more three stars this class will be fine, and then we have Kill to help with the O on the field next year.

Marsette is going to Iowa. The SB bump in recruiting was overhyped. The man responsible for those players is coaching at Iowa State. How many players will we have drafted this year?
Have you been following the recruiting saga of Marsette? Iowa doesn't seem to be in play anymore. He looking hard at Minnesota because they may be the only one willing to look. Grades are an issue for him. Until that gets straighten out he may not being heading anywhere soon.

Ya' think? I practically owned him earlier and THAT is what he came back with!!! Ha!
owned me? That's a joke. What have i said that you proved wrong? In fact, you cannot give me an example of one top player that we were able to land down the stretch. I pointed to Maryland continuing to show how to recruit. I like Ash. I have made that clear but you are not being honest and have yet to say anything that refutes my claims.

We dont get credit for melton, clark or fogg cause they committed early?

I give a ton of credit for getting them. But my post was entirely about finishing strong down the stretch. Every year many of the top players wait until the end to announce my point was we landed nobody. We are now filling the remaining class with offers or poor offers. Seems very Flood-esque. Not a winning formula.

Bordner is one

And we will likely get Blackshear who has decommitted from msu

And if we flip the duke kid

So hardly a bad job.

Just sit tight...if youre truly a fan and not a troll

We also got the top Kicker in NJ as a PWO and may be getting a top Punter as a grad transfer - 2 glaring positions of need that the staff addressed in the past week or so.

Just wanna keep this thread alive as there are some comments very likely to get destroyed over the next few days.
