We haven't worn the shiny maroon helmets all year. It's been either matte maroon or white.

Only difference is I would say about Croom's teams, while pretty much as bad or worse, they had more discipline but less talent and ran a more vanilla offense.

I don't remember exactly which game it was recently, but we and the other team had white helmets on, although the jerseys were opposite. I couldn't help but think that it would have been an opportune time to have maroon helmets, if for no other reason to help our qb differentiate between our players.

We’ve become a SWAC program with all these damn uniform changes every week. Just settle on the primary home/road and then mix in something new on special occasions. It’s too damn much. And this is the worst damn uniform Combo possible.

Judging from the responses thus far in this thread (not a scientific sampling), I would say that roughly half of us think uniform choices do matter--at least to the fans. All who share this view should respectfully voice their concerns to the athletic director at [email protected]. Together, we may be able to restore some order and tradition to our uniform choices.
