You should be able to go back and rewatch the pep rally, the helmet is shown briefly in the beginning before Coach Mullen is introduced.

At the end someone (couldn't tell who) asked the crowd if they liked the Maroon helmets.

Yep, looked like the new (terrible looking) MState in white. It was a maroon helmet, no stripe, and white face mask.
