I can't lie... I'm finding myself refreshing rupp rafters every few min. Go Big Blue!!
Same here, although I’m still working… sorta😂

Not trying to be a “Negative Nancy”, but with Pope’s track record, vs. someone like Calipari, I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t getting anxious with each passing hour.

I know many have mentioned, that Mitchell has a “Do Not Contact” tag on his portal entry, but let’s not joke around here, if an agent called and threw out a mid- 7 figure number, that do not contact stuff doesn’t mean squat!

GET. IT. DONE. COACH… STAT👈🏼

Edit: Just saw Jones’ tweet above😜

Mitchell left because Cooper Flagg was coming to take his starting spot.

I did appreciate how much Mitchell struggled on defense. I would have really appreciated Mitchell if he stayed and took even a few of Cooper Flagg's minutes.
Oooooooooooh! I am sure Mitchell is hanging on every word to find out what Trollheel “appreciates!!” Take your envy elsewhere.

You don't seem to understand what a joke is.

Had you said "it was Hyperbole" you would have had a point.
No one else needed a “winky guy” on there but you.

If you think there’s a single person on here that thought Boozer would drop out of the draft and actually transfer to UNC, I think it’s you that doesn’t understand.

Hey guys, before you post anything sarcastic, hyperbolic or facetious, could you please label it at the top of the post so ole AFAM can follow along.

He looked stupid with his response and now he is defensive. UNC is a good school, unless you have one of their fake degrees. Maybe he is afraid to be discovered.

Mitchell would make it a top 15 roster. I personally like the backcourt dynamic a ton. Mitchell would offer some brawn to balance out the roster. He's not really a Pope archetype.
You’re right top 15. Kentucky fans are just longing to go back to the top of college basketball. I mean, look how the forum has shrunk. There aren’t any more than what’s on this forum who thinks Mitchell’s gonna bump us all the way to the top five. Everyone knows that’s not happening. But it should happen that should be the expectations.. because this guy replaces Oweh in a very big way. I keep hearing people talk about other things, but it’s just boils down to one and that’s replacing Oweh and his physicality. We have no one on the roster that can replace the guy. And we like we won a lot of games because of him. If Pope didn’t have a way, he would’ve been fired after last season may not have made the tournament. And definitely were first round out with Oweh hitting that miracle shot. That’s the play here is to replace Oweh way. Because.Momi gives us a shooter, but not much of a defender not much of a rebounder. Mitchell would give us that option. To play to go a little more athletic.

And people trying to rationalize losing the guy already if Pope loses this guy this would be a huge miss. I mean, the guys already been considered a lock by many comes to Kentucky to get his injunction. He’s not playing at Louisville. It’s between Kentucky and.????? I mean if Pope doesn’t close the deal and give us time for another team to come in and snatch him. Forget about any Top 15 or any top 25 ranking. In a must win season it doesn’t bode well when you’re putting energy in time into recruiting for the upcoming season at this point in the summer.. just as school is about to start. That would be a terrible sign. I mean Pope should be completely focused on the upcoming season. He should know who he has going into it and what his strategy is.. picking up a player right now may disrupt the balance, may upset a player from feeling recruited over mostly it shows that pope is all in on his team right now: to me that’s a little unsettling. I mean, pope should be hyper focused he should be coaching his team he should be motivating. I’m getting them fired up so we get out of the gate strong. But I feel like coaches this team like he’s a Hall of Famer. Like he can go and recruit and coach at the same time.. but he just doesn’t have it. That’s an ability he doesn’t have and I thought it hurt us last year.. pining for everyone in transfer portal. He’s worked hard no doubt but for what a top 25 high-end Ceiling.. with Mitchell probably a top 15. It’s definitely not up to uk standards.

Of course they are. It's sombering to see the sport race by you. UK isn't the only one though, Kansas and UNC aren't far behind.

Go look at preseason rankings, recruiting classes and National Champs starting around 2005. It was nothing but UNC, Duke, Kentucky and Kansas dominating. Times have changed fast.

I think ultimately what you want here is a good enough roster to evaluate whether Pope is the guy or not. A no excuses kind of roster.

I'm generally torn on when to move on Pope. I think the coach in waiting is Bryan Hodgson, but it's going to take him a couple years at PC to show he's the guy.
