I welcome anyone who comes in without a partisan approach, and who runs on bringing the country together, not dividing it. Not likely that we will see that from a major party candidate.

Nothing personal, cubes, but I'm kinda done with billionaires in the white house, tbh.

Well, they need to not only run on bringing the country together, they actually need to attempt to do so if they get in office...

Cuban 2024! He said a few months back he explored it but his family wouldn't let him do it. Seemed like he for sure wasn't going to run then. He has the itch though. I think he'd make a great president.

Does he want to be hated by 90% of news media and 30-40% of the US population though is the question and does he want to put his family through that? He probably had some party days in his early years of owning the Mavs. Might be some stories out there.

He may not rule it out for 2020, but reality does: the filing deadline has long since passed for most states. If no one gets 50% of delegates at the conventions this summer (who the hell knows how THAT'S gonna work) I guess he could become a nominee that way.

Seems outlandish but then again 2020 is WILD.

Nah he's actually pretty informed. You can tell he's smart because he actually changes his mind. That's what smart people do. They're willing to change their minds when new information comes to light.

I know most of you will not be surprised at this but I want to defeat the Liberal crazy ideas, not compromise with them. So if that means this country stays divided, so be it. I can live in a divided country. I cannot live with being told how to worship, how to behave, and how to think.

If my opinions hurt feelings, That is on them. If you hurt my feelings, that is on me.

I agree with this. Folks walking down the street are not stopping other randos and asking about their political beliefs to just cause a raucous.

My friends who are super liberal and super conservative haven't stopped talking to each other. This country is divided for those who consume cable news non stop or make politics their religion.

Here's an idea, live the life you wanna live and unless you're trying to do something utterly disgusting or unreasonable, you can probably do it without any one giving a flying 17.

He brings in interesting guests to talk about interesting things. I don’t think he takes himself as seriously as you do.

I don’t give 1 crap about the MMA stuff but love the diversity of his topics.

Joe Rogan is a dilettante. And I’m not being disparaging— it’s perfect for him with his podcasts. You just have to remember he’s an amateur when it comes to a *lot* of things.

Everyone is wrong at times and I really hardly ever watch his podcast, but I've seen a lot of it and he's every where these days. I certainly can see why he could rub folks the wrong way, but can you provide examples of why he's a legit moron? Elon Musk and others like him wasting their time with a moron?

He did get Elon to smoke pot haha.

They aren’t tuning in just to hear Rogan opine. He has awesome guests.

But I am not trying to change your mind. I personally don’t care if y’all think he is a moron. Moron did pretty good for himself.*

Thank You! I have uninformed opinions on **** all of the time, but when more evidence comes to light I change it. Not to mention, if I ran and I felt a certain way if the majority of the populace felt differently I would probably vote that way because it isn’t about what I “know” is good for the people it’s what the people feel would benefit the majority of Americans (to a point).

I'd say the media is just as responsible for dividing the country than any politician, if not completely responsible. It doesn't matter what so-and-so politician says, the media will always twist words and nitpick details to push the agenda they are paid to push.

If he ran as a Dem, there would be very little of that from the media. I'm sure he'd get the same passes from the MSM as every other Dem in office.

Cuban? I wouldn’t vote for that m17er for dog catcher. Owning an NBA team doesn’t qualify him to run for anything, but I’m sure he would get some votes.

Just curious. What qualifications does someone need to become president in your eyes. Business, political experience, military leadership... Not throwing rocks, just wondering?

I'm beginning to think these mainstream media folks are one step from not even being considered human beings. They are literally the worst people on the face of the earth and they show their *** during a crisis situation more than anything. I can't even stomach having to watch the ******* nerds purposely and methodically spreading hysteria at a time like this. They absolutely cannot leave politics and division out of their content, and especially in their questions to elected leaders. It's ******* sick and people are finally coming around to it.

Uninformed poster doesn’t know Cuban is a tech titan & TV mogul in addition to becoming an NBA owner.

I’d vote for Cuban as long as his policies weren’t liberal.

I take it you've lived in those states? There's a ridiculous amount of conservatives that get a long just fine in those states. Outside of the major metro areas, those states are all very rural and conservative.

Have lived in Cali since the mid-80's. Been to Oregon & know people there. The Portland metro area in particular is even more militantly liberal than Cali, though that's hard to fathom.

Cali has some areas where you can be somewhat conservative and get by. Orange County in SoCal is such an area. But the majority of the state is not at all tolerant. There are secret, by invitation only business owners groups that meet to talk politics and help support one another because being openly conservative in most parts will not only get you ostracized socially, but can hurt you from a business perspective.

I can't engage on twitter or even facebook much when it comes to politics because I'm not yet retired, thus can't risk damaging my business prospects.

Where do you live in CA? Do you feel like where you live that you can't live the way you'd like to live within reason? I'd agree that Portland is an ultra liberal place and basically ground zero for "militant liberals", but basically outside of Bay Area, LA (maybe?) Portland and Seattle zones, it's not much different than any other place. Even in those places, I know plenty of people that don't subscribe to those beliefs and get along just fine.

Gotcha. Did you feel it was this way when GW was president as well? Or just more recently with Trump?

The people complaining about the media the most are the same people feeding the media the most views and clicks.
