told you the other day that because of the crap going on with my body that I'd have to miss three events that were previously scheduled. One of them is a captains choice that our team that has played in together for 15 years...we've won it two years in a row. When I found out I couldn't play I suggested they get a substitute. I was sitting at the house yesterday when the doorbell rang and it was my three partners. They know my doctor and he told them that if I just chipped from the greenside and putted he would okay my participation, and they want me to go instead of the sub I had selected who, by the way, is a MUCH better player than I am. They could be pissing away a chance at $150 per man by doing that, but they said we are a team and that's the way they want it.........don't want to sound corny but it made me just a little emotional....I probably will cost them the tournament but now I wouldn't miss it for the world.......it's this coming Thursday
