Last night ejected from a preseason game for hitting guy in head/face with ball... then his usual talk. Never been a fan and he never disappoints with his approach.

Was on KSR - or google him and it's his top story.

But I thought everyone loved this type of basketball lol? This 90s styled no skill no talent beat the hell out of eachother basketball. I mean if you get pissed because you aren't good enough to get around someone or to defend someone everyone should just do this. With that being said the NBA is the fastest growing of the 3 major sports. Its more popular than its ever been.

My family is from Philadelphia and I'm a die hard sixers fan. So I spend a lot of time watching every Sixers game. I think with a lot of Kentuckians there isn't a pro basketball presence so its hard for us to get into it.

You are probably right ryan but back in the day there was some class to the game. Heck when Kareem and Cowans used to get into a fight every time they played I thought the integrity of the game started dropping then and later the Detroit Piston team with their thugs. I stopped watching because I could always watch the old WWF if I wanted to see players in the stands and fighting on the floor.

I think its getting back to being more skill based now especially with guys like Harden and Curry. Those guys are magicians with the basketball.

Until I stop seeing things like what the OP showed us, I'm still on the side that its not my cup of tea. But, I will always be a DR J fan.

When I saw it, my first thought was 'hell yeah!'... Anderson pleading to ref during play is a duke move (i know he played at UVA)... dude, got what he deserved, IMO.
My only reaction was, surprise... that a player could get ejected for hitting another (while in play) with the ball. Twenty years ago we threw it off the hips, legs, and occasionally the head of an opponent to save a timeout while inbounding the ball or to regain our dribble.

Morris must think since he is in New York know he can be a brawler again. Brad Stevens got him under control in Boston and he was a very good player there, but you could sort of tell he was itching to fight a lot of the time.

Gonna be interesting to see how Fizdale manages him along with Julius Randle, who plays the same position but is younger, cleaner, works harder, and rebounds better.
