Not sure why he would cancel his workouts just to go to Europe.Looks like he's either coming back or going Euro.
Or he is reaching an agreement with an organization he wants to train in.Looks like he's either coming back or going Euro.
Tune in Thursday.. or Friday of this week... or next.Ummm...what will happen with Bolden?
Ummm...what will happen with Bolden?
It would send him to Duke, and us with Lee and them with Bolden is a net win for them.
He hasn't improved in 3 years
Yeah, like today, if he decided he's coming back. But Cal may tell him to hold off until Bolden makes his decision. The positive to this, if this report is true, we're definitely going to hear something from Lee about whether he intends to stay in the draft or not very, very soon.
Skills development happens in the offseason and in practice. One can improve that without having to do it during games. Games are in fact that last place a player should be putting in the time to develop skills. Think of it like a play, you have rehearsals and what not to work on getting everything right. Once you have it down you put on the play. Then you use the play to evaluate and refine any rough spots. That is not all Lee's fault. He was never used as a needed scorer, he was strictly a role player. Can he shoot, no one really knows. We all thought WCS had no offense either, but he is scoring in the NBA. Granted, Lee will NOT improve by coming back, as he will get even less minutes.
Agree 100%. He's been nothing but class for us and IMO, we don't make the Final Four in 2014 without his game against Michigan. If Lee comes back, I'll welcome him. I hope he does. COme back and finish your college career as a Cat, Marcus.
I was under the impression he's already technically graduated. So his college career could be over now. I'm sure I'll be corrected if wrong. If Lee comes back, I'll welcome him. I hope he does. COme back and finish your college career as a Cat, Marcus.
worked out the same for Jorts didn't it? Never improvedtime for Lee to face reality.......he is not a very good basketball player
If he wants to continue & take the next step as he has stated.....accept the D league or over seas
either way time to move on. He hasn't improved in 3 years..........1 more won't make any difference
Totally different situation.Jorts never got the chance to play before that.Lee has had tons of playing time especially last season and still didn't improve.worked out the same for Jorts didn't it? Never improved
Marcus Lee seems like a good person, but I'm ready to move on from his constant underachievement. Unfortunately it sounds like we are going to be stuck with him for another year of worthlessness.
Maybe he'll finally figure out he needs to be able to do something on the court other than be long and springy and he'll actually be more than just a warm body we were forced to throw out there like last year?
I agree with this entire post, but I still don't think he's a very good player - nothing against him as a person of course.Agree 100%. He's been nothing but class for us and IMO, we don't make the Final Four in 2014 without his game against Michigan.
