Marcus Lee needs more time next year.

I don't get the over reaching criticism of DL's offense . He's as good as Willie IMO. Remember the first half of the Michigan game last year .

110% agreed. Lee is not the perfect player, but he does better when he plays more, same with Johnson. Never understood why he is on such a short leash with Cal. Hoping he puts in the effort this offseason because he could be a huge difference maker next year.

Seriously? Marcus is NOT inconsistent on offense. He has no offense. It's already been said in this thread. If he wants to play he has to learn to make FTs and develop a little jumper. The ball is in his court.

If he works his *** off, he can be all SEC next season and then all american as a senior.

Why are they called coaches? Ever get the feeling some of these guys could be so much better with COACHING! The very fact that a Marcus Lee, with all that natural ability, has been here 2 years and as most of you say "has no offensive skills" should be blamed on the people hired to coach him! No they waste too much time promoting their lottery picks, at the expense of the team. Our best games were when we platooned, no question about it! Willie is in the same boat pretty much as far as offensive skills!

The only way I give Lee minutes next year is if he puts in 3-4 hours per day on his own learning basic basketball skills. He can't dribble, pass or shoot. Leaping is all he does well.

Unless he developes a post move, jump shot and can hit more than 40% at the FT line, then he will finish his career as a energy player that gets spot minutes.

He has ZERO offense other than oops and put backs. WCS had more offense and he had very little.

I hope Lee works all summer learning to shoot.
