Quick question. Did Cal self report Camby once he found out he took money?

I can't find it anywhere on Google. Battling Louisville Tardinal fans.

Yes, he did

And the NCAA specifically said he was not implicated. Rose was never found to have cheated on his test, either

Another coach had players taking money from agents and actually caught in academic fraud, and that's bill self at Kansas. Nobody whines about him

Neither coaches run prostitution rings for underage children in the years following abortions forced on women they spent 15 seconds they spent on top of in public places

My vague recollection is that he convinced Camby to turn himself in.
that's what I thought I had read, too - but also read that Cal contacted the NCAA first to tell them there was a problem

not sure of any of the facts, though

I like that schools are burning down around us and they still try to talk trash . Louisville along with UNC have the top two most heinous and deplorable scandals you could think up , no big deal though cause this one time twenty years ago a player took money against his future earnings . I heard a few UK players took money from gamblers to not curb stomp opponents , 60 years ago .

Cal was on some kind of NCAA council at the time and yes, reported him. There's articles via a google search. I've read them

Good grief. Let. It. Go.
He said he was battling Tard fans, when it comes to battling Tard fans...

Cal has made some mistakes and Marcus Camby happened on his campus and on his watch. If you take his comments from Lupica, then Cal should of had a better handle on things. Can't blame him for Rose. NCAA cleared him twice and that happened in High school. Not sure how Cal was supposed to prevent that.

I'm not naive enough to think any coach is squeaky clean but with as many head hunters out there for Cal, he's either really, really, really good at cheating or he's not doing anything less than other coaches that don't run brothels on campus.

Nice! You did better than I did. I bought puts on PCLN.

It was a no brainer with yellen scheduled to speak.

Now is the time to enter the metals sector if you haven't already. Going to run up over the next 2-3 years for huge profits.

Thanks. I am purely a daytrader. My overnight and longer term holds never work for me. I am usually in and out in the first hour of trading. Yesterday, I actually missed entering at 3:30 when the market "dumped."

(Apologizes for hijacking the thread but at least this is a positive hijack!)
