I can see the Bama portal being good to us for years to come
you only have to move your stuff 90 miles and we're a school not named Auburn. Nearly guaranteed to be starting if you're a 4 or 5 star. Saban and his staff is doing some of our recruiting for us.

Agreed. Bama will likely not slack off (as long as Saban as there), because they can take players from elsewhere, but it's unlikely they'll be taking many from us. But we can get a pipeline of talented guys who simply want to play, and most times, are victims of sheer numbers at Bama. For example they just got Eli Ricks from LSU, probably to replace Banks. But for every 1 they get, they likely lose 3. At least that's the trend the last two years, since the one-time rule was established, and all of their incoming guys are from other blue-bloods.
Hopefully too we can compile those numbers to show recruits why they should commit to us from the beginning

Banks is a player. He’d be starting in the CFP for Bama had he chosen to hang around. He’s a great addition.
