PSU taking it to A&M right now. I admit a bit of a soft spot for the Nits but seeing A&M get hammered makes me smile regardless lol. Cannot stand Aggie fans. Hope PSU wins by 30...
penn state is a fun team to watch. they spread the floor and let that big guard roll and dish. they'll be all texas can handle tomorrow, methinks.

iowa is as athletic as a turnip. i knew they'd get rolled by auburn.

nice to see northwestern get a win. that will likely be it.

illinois going down was fun. here's something for those into schadenfreude.

Xavier escapes against Kennesaw State. Would have been ironic to see 3-seed Xavier lose to a 14, given the painful memory from 1991.

Saint Mary's fundamentals and team play vs VCU athletes. Saint Mary's is outmatched but just play within themselves.

Jays get two early fouls on NC State’s star player, then naturally turn to a steady diet of step-back threes.

NC State kid will no doubt finish with 30 points and three fouls.

purdue probably not athletic nor old enough at guard to win it. but edey is amazingly athletic for such a huge dude.

Purdue might pull this out but their guards are getting badly outplayed and exposed.

Their guards are about as athletic as a spare tire...teams were worried to pressure them all year but it works.

Purdue under 84 was a bigger lock than my prom date.

I admittedly didn't watch any Purdue this year, but how in holy f@ck were they a #1 seed? They just go ice cold? How the f@ck don't you have shooters to complement that unathletic no hands big lurch motherf@cker?

I mean I figured Purdue was a bit overrated but I figured they'd at least wait till the round of 32 to **** the bed 🤣

The sight of Flopper Loyer jacking up an air ball at crunch time was sweeeeeeet!

I don't watch much regular season either. Their big guy is good and they played good defense, but they had no one that can create their own shot, at least today.
Shot maybe 20% on non-layup/dunks against the shortest team in the tourny.

Purdue was always dead as soon as they ran into somebody who could expose their guards. But losing to a 16 seed is a unique aroma of stink

Don't know if you need guys that can create with that Lurch oaf f@cker (who I think looked kind of meh for his size).
He at least scared them from what I saw. How do you not have guys who can rain threes when he draws double and triple teams?

Must have been the meat grinder schedule, the refs not adjusting, or something entirely unrelated to just getting their *** kicked down the stretch.

Lmao Big 10

Massively overrated conference year after year after year after year yet get 8-9 bids every tourney

Can’t imagine playing in such a soft conference and not even being able to earn an NIT bid in 4 years - but our AD somehow thinks finishing 11th and losing to the 14th seed in the tourney is noteworthy and is excited about what year 5 brings

Purdue has now lost to a 13, 15 and 16 seed in consecutive tourneys

meanwhile a guy here still holds this opinion:

I'd hire Purdue assistant Brandon Brantley. I don't know how he does it, but he keeps recruiting studs to come to Purdue, particularly talented 7-footers.

Largest point spread upset in the history of the tournament with Purdue being favored by 23.5.

FDU didn't even win their conference tournament to get an AQ. They only got in bc Merrimack is ineligible this year.

Impressive to see Jeffrey Dahmer mentioned in a basketball thread. Or frightening?

As no doubt the only Big Sky fan here, I'm pulling for Montana State. (although I know they won't be able to hang with KSU - after all KSU has the Power Towel!)
