Why is Duke fouling at the end of the first half to disrupt play? I get that strategy at the end of games. I do not understand making pointless fouls in the first half.

sampson may be a snake but he’s a hell of a coach. down probably his two best players at the beginning of the year and holding arizona to 22 points late in the first half.

I've always liked Kelvin Sampson's teams. He almost knocked us out a few years ago in the Sweet 16 if not for a Herro 3 pointer.

true and i get it, but we’ve had some pretty good defensive teams. if bbn followed these other coaches they wouldn’t like their offense so much. for example, tech’s offense has been bad. they isolate guys like that 6-7 forward who tried a sky hook. all their offense has been from hustle.
