Fellow nerd here too. Just finished up the most recent Hardcore History episode about Alexander, and was checking out some maps, too bad that bum didn't take on the Celtic tribes or I'd have had a little refresher further north. Also thanks to thousands of hours of Football Manager I can crush the Sporcle flags of the world quiz.

I think I am enjoying the little history lessons of each location more so than the actual game itself anymore. Montgomery and Montreal today were both quite interesting and I was not aware of either. Anyone else enjoy these?

- Commiserate with others about how none of us know where anything is in China and Africa
Donβt forget about chile and Russia. Also with Australia, itβs pretty much far east or far west. If you donβt know it and guess wrong you are wrecked.
Got the dreaded "read drag as a click" when headed to the land down under. I wouldn't have known exactly where it was, but I damn sure know it isn't in the center of Africa.

I knew exactly where the first one was but for some reason I put it in Finland. I knew where the second one was and got it pretty much. The third one once again was as far away as I could be from a place ion Australia while still being in Australia. The fourth one asked about Paraguay and I read it as Portugal the last one was China and once again no where close. You gotta do maptap AFTER coffee.
