Nope. We unite disappointed in her lack of use all year, with Wallace gone and only Singleton back you would have thought she would have got more playing time

I look forward to Maori making huge gains over the summer. the 5-spot will be wide open for her to grab next year if she works on her game.

That "works on game" might be the reason she isn't getting playing time as a true freshman and needs to adjust her game from what it is to what it takes to start at the college level or at least earn minutes.

Maori has played in 27 out of the 29 games this season, yesterday would have been a horrible match up, with her against the Iowa big who is making 70% of her shots on the season. Some people feel the need to complain about something, regardless of RU winning a huge must win game.

Not complaining. Just saying this was clearly not a development year for her after being touted as one of the top centers in the country coming out of high school. The way you get better is by playing against better competition,

Playing time needs to be deserved. Last game of the year when you need a signature win to cement your NCAA status and seeding in Big 10 tournament is not the time to play someone for development purposes.

Singleton's play has improved noticeable the last month and she is a 6'2" Redshirt Frosh F/C who is quicker and more athletic than Davenport. Davenport however is 2 inches taller stronger and better rebounder, both should improve the next few seasons. Look how much Wallace improved over the last few years. I never though she could come close to replacing Stasha Carey, but she has for the most part. Carey was more consistent, no doubt.

Exactly, if anyone had told me two years ago that RU would be starting Jordan Wallace, T Mack & Mael Giles, I would have bet that RU would not win a dozen games, all season. There is a huge difference in playing HS ball then playing in the B1G & development does not usually happen during a players true freshman year. Maori played in most games & will be stronger & better for the time that she spent on the court both in games & practice this year.

Yes, and minus a few exceptions, post players usually take longer to adjust to college than guards. I'm excited to see both Singleton and Davenport's development.
Same. Plus the two post recruits we have coming in will provide even more quality depth that we desperately need next year.

The next class and the development of this class should fills several holes next year. But, it would be nice to find a big grad transfer.
