And just like that our Huskers are ranked 23rd. Looking at a 3rd year in a row being placed in the Top 25 in recruiting (Top 21, Top 15, and now Top 23 and up). GBR

Can't underestimate how crappy it is to recruit to Nebraska. This staff must have flown 5k miles in the last couple days...a really rough lifestyle but they are really motivated. This is not something that can be taken for granted when we talk about the quality of the staff...and is often something that is overlooked. Solich was very poor at the travel, salesman part of the job...Cally was pretty good, and Bo was very bad.

Bill Snyder recruited well enough to Manhattan, KS to win a couple of Big Twelve titles and twice get into November with a shot at a national championship. If that can be accomplished there, more can be accomplished in Lincoln, NE.
Well flying in a private jet with ample leg room and a kitchenette stocked with whatever you want isn't quite as bad as flying United..... Even IF they had to take a commercial flight, they would fly first class. Just another day at the office. It's fine. They're well paid to do it.

Exactly what I was thinking. Really not too hard done by. Sheesh. They make PLENTY of money to suck up it and do the rounds. Many people in their salary range are flying on a weekly basis all year around.
I have no doubt he will be. I’m not going to assume he won’t make it. I always take the positive stance...never the negative one. You can celebrate this win because this is step one. Getting the player to want to be a Husker over all the other great teams he could have picked. Step two is getting him on campus (that’s the step we on now).
Manning, Betts, and Robinson as a 3 receiver set changes how defenses will defend us tremendously. We should be night and day next year. The only thing holding it back will be academics from either Manning or Betts. ill be happy if we get either of the two on campus
Betts is already said to be on path to make it. Betts shouldn’t be an issue (unless he suddenly falls apart and gives up...I don’t see that happening). Omar Manning issue? No clue, all that’s ever been said was he had some work to do and that’s the extent of it. Since TCU offered again and Texas AM along with Frost...I’d have to assume he’s on par too or even good to go now. I’m guessing it now both players will be here come fall.

exactly. Frost was there in person that day I believe too. More then likely checking in and making sure he was good or on par to being good before he was allowed to fully commit.
