There has been a lot of talk amongst the coaches and players regarding the inability for everyone to fully buy-in to the program and this staff's way of doing things. HCSF said in his presser after Saturday's game that he was done with those who refused to do things the right way, so what exactly does that mean going-forward? Do the coaches get together with a select group of players to discuss and then identify those which they know are not committed to the team, and then from there the coaches sit down with those players and talk about their future specifically?? There has to come a time when you say enough is enough and act upon that...

If I were HCSF I would have a stack of pre-signed release forms sitting at practice, and address the team at the beginning of practice that any guy who from this point forward isn't 110% committed to this team and doing things their way (ie. the right way) should just grab a form and leave now.

As a TRUE Husker fan I understand that this is not a quick turnaround for the staff, we have talent but maybe just not the right talent for what this team wants to be, and that oftentimes a few 'bad apples' can truly spoil the bunch.

GBR!

I think a team pajama party could do the trick. Movies, popcorn, pizza, group singalongs.... all of this will produce the buy-in Frost is looking for.

God forbid we have a serious discussion about football without somebody hijacking it with trash commentary....

It's not just this football team that seriously needs to grow-up.

I think he is just going to focus practice reps on those that he feels he can "go to battle" with. I think the rest will sort itself out. I also think we may see some player leadership not allowing those "bad apples" to poison the group

Leach had to do it at WSU this way. It was basically buy in or leave, and we lost a bunch, but that opened up a lot of scholarship room allowing us to take a full 25 year over year.

We did not miss the players that left.
Then Moos knows it can work

Relax. A serious conversation about football is an oxymoron. I think some people need a reminder that we're not talking about a matter of life and death.

I honestly don't think there are that many that haven't bought in. People have different work ethics and abilities to learn. I don't think the players have totally understood what is expected of them. We have kids from all over the country with different regional thinking about everything.

I do think we have some "bad apples " tho.

Sounds like we have starters and/or key players. To me I agree may not be many but Yuge.
