There has been a lot of talk amongst the coaches and players regarding the inability for everyone to fully buy-in to the program and this staff's way of doing things. HCSF said in his presser after Saturday's game that he was done with those who refused to do things the right way, so what exactly does that mean going-forward? Do the coaches get together with a select group of players to discuss and then identify those which they know are not committed to the team, and then from there the coaches sit down with those players and talk about their future specifically?? There has to come a time when you say enough is enough and act upon that...
If I were HCSF I would have a stack of pre-signed release forms sitting at practice, and address the team at the beginning of practice that any guy who from this point forward isn't 110% committed to this team and doing things their way (ie. the right way) should just grab a form and leave now.
As a TRUE Husker fan I understand that this is not a quick turnaround for the staff, we have talent but maybe just not the right talent for what this team wants to be, and that oftentimes a few 'bad apples' can truly spoil the bunch.
GBR!
