Offense, Defense or Olympics?
I imagine we’re leaving it open. I know he’s bonded with Mickey Joseph, but I keep hearing we may be really interested in his pass rushing potential. What position are we looking at him for? WR? or are we thinking defense.
Couple of those guys looked like they signed up for the 100 meters just because it's the shortest race.Side note...did 2nd place in that race run 12+? Yikes.
Pretty sure this was the prelim.I mean, it's a Nebraska high school track meet. We're we expecting a field full of world class sprinters? Coleman looks like a long strider, really covers ground.
Isn’t 10.95 and 11.1 a decent gap in the 100? Not sure that is neck and neckSaw it live. It was 50 degrees, wind at his back. A kid in the next heat from East (Miles) ran an 11.10, for second place. This was just an open meet with JV and Varsity mixed. No finals. So he was likely running against some JV kids. 19 heats of 100 meter runners! Malachi is fast for sure. Would like to watch those 2 in the same heat next time though. would have been neck and neck.
That's a good format for an early meet. Get a bunch of kids out there and get a time on them.Saw it live. It was 50 degrees, wind at his back. He's going to contend for a gold medal in the triple jump. The dude is a stud. Reminds me of Fant.10.95 is decent this time of year. About 40 degrees at the time of this race. This was obviously not the finals based on the other runners. If he gets a more explosive start he may get down to 10.6. I bet he could be really good at the 200 and 400.
I’d be surprised if he wins the triple jump. Grossrode kid from Pius has already put up a 47’10” jump. That is well beyond last year’s state champ. He's going to contend for a gold medal in the triple jump. The dude is a stud. Reminds me of Fant.
10.9 beats 11.1 by daylight.Isn’t 10.95 and 11.1 a decent gap in the 100? Not sure that is neck and neck
Wow, didn't realize that. 47' 10" is a pretty incredible jump.I’d be surprised if he wins the triple jump. Grossrode kid from Pius has already put up a 47’10” jump. That is well beyond last year’s state champ.
Hey can somebody fill me in with that kid from North Platte. Wins 220 class a wrestling, then posts 10.85 in the 100. I see he’s going to Montana. What’s holding him back from better offers? (Sorry if already discussed)VERY good time considering his size, age, time of year, weather, and such.

I’ll say this…he’s better than 2 other guys from Nebraska’s 2021 class from Nebraska.Hey can somebody fill me in with that kid from North Platte. Rinse, Repeat. AhhggWe will only have a chance to land him if Frost turns it around this year and has a good season. But if Frost lays another turd I think Coleman goes elsewhere...
Didnt say their times were neck and neck, meant the race would've been better with them in the same heat to push each other.Isn’t 10.95 and 11.1 a decent gap in the 100? Not sure that is neck and neck
