They also played (and lost to) Duke who would probably destroy Colorado by 80 at this point, not that Duke is a spectacular team.

Without diving deeply into it, I'm guessing Northwestern, having higher academic standards, don't have tards at QB throwing passes either to guys clearly covered, or with such limp-wristed inaccuracy that they miss the wide open guy by 5+ yards and hit a defender in the numbers, nor anywhere near the number of WRs and RBs out for the year due to injury or, in Betts case, flaking out right before the season started.
