If there was ever a year for us to take on bad losses, this is as good of a year for it to happen. I rather take our lumps in a rebuilding year. Imagine having lost to south alabama in 2014 or 2015 with Dak at the helm.

I feel pretty good about not buying into a cabana after this first game.

I see people saying this a lot... Y'all need to pay closer attention to the MAC. There are some very solid teams in that conference. Last year, Toledo was a pretty damn good football team. They'll be good again this year too... And just dismantled Arky State in Jonesboro on Friday. I realize Arky a State isn't a powerhouse... But Toledo was a 4 point dog and won by 3 TDs with a slow 2nd half to wind the clock.

That Toeldo loss by Arky last year was bad in name alone... If you watched Toledo the rest of the heat, you'd understand they were a solid team.
