he screwed us two years in a row
It must be ok with the team’s other players and Pikiell . We average 5 players out each game since mid February.
It appears that the team checked out when Mag starting to pull his crap.
I mean wouldn’t you. That’s pretty egregious, from a senior leader no less
He did nothing.. sat on the bench and collected his nil paycheck
Pike has to understand the pulse of the team and he failed miserably.
You can’t be preaching team / team / team and you allow a rotten apple to keep manifesting itself bringing down the entire team !
Should have been removed from the locker room the first time he sat out after being cleared by the docs. He has been a noticeable cancer all year.
this is all speculation at this point .

There has to be more than one bad apple here. This team is a mess. Everyone looks miserable, some have quit. A team doesn’t just quit because of one malcontent. He’s had these issues every year or so..with people blaming Mathis, Young, and Mulcahy among others. Regardless. It’s the coach’s job to fix.
That’s my thought. Does anyone have any real actual info that he chose to sit out. Maybe he’s trying to protect his own health if his knee doesn’t feel right.
Think he’d fit in well at San Diego St. Would be something of a homecoming for him too

Pike said mag Was cleared by docs and training staff early in the season and he sat out multiple games. And that he was cleared to play the last 2 weeks and he hasn’t played.
Exactly. Team docs cleared him to play awhile ago, and he chooses to sit. Get lost Mag.

Howevet, You need more than this to condemn the guy. Sources saying stuff etc
I hear you, the Mag mafia will get you……He came back from injury had a a few strong games and he got his flowers from all of us. Then he faded with games where he didn’t even get a rebound or score, I pointed out his dropoff and got blasted and was told it was clearly his knee acting up causing the dropoff. When he had good games, he was a great player, when he played bad it was “oh, well, clearly his knee is still giving him problems”……
What does any of this mean? Do you know what having a person that gives up on their teammates does to a locker room? Fastest way to create a divide is for someone to not pull their weight.
He deserted his teammates when they needed him most. And it’s not sources. It’s the coach. Pike said it multiple times in press conferences early in the season and again at the end.
Pike didn’t say it .
And if like you are implying this happened and is clear as day , there will be sources coming out saying it soon. So sit tight and you may be proven right …or wrong
I thought this was common knowledge that Pike had to pony up in the off season to make him stay
Not common knowledge to me and I frequent the free boards plenty.
Doesn’t every player ask for nil? And threaten to leave if not getting more ? Even bench guys.

Was this even delved into specifics on premium? From what I heard , a lot of rumors.
He absolutely said it. Look at the post above this one. This was discussed on this board early in the season. Had sideline reporters wondering why he wasn’t playing early in the season. Even saying that pike was visually upset when trainers shared the info about mags being unavailable.
When a player is cleared by medical has a great practice the day before a game and then is a gameday scratch on multiple occasions, somethings up.(Pike told us this on multiple occasions) Pike was visibly frustrated by the situation at the end of the year. The mods also told us what's going on behind the scenes on premium. It doesn't take a genius to connect the dots that he quit on his teammates.
Again …this means nothing . Maybe mag mentally isn’t there or doesn’t trust the Rutgers trainers. Again, get someone on record to say what you are implying . Otherwise it’s just speculation
