Rutgers plays there next December and a believe again during the Big Ten season. This is a huge recruiting tool which has been missing. The Garden is what in large part makes the Big East so enormously successful.

In Jimmy V? Tell more details please. I love games in MSG and especially competitive RU games there. Best Bball atmosphere!
Editing to add: yes yes of course the RAC is the absolute best. However MSG is indeed “the Mecca”. I would NOT want to give up home game every time but totally content with it every other time. And I no longer live in the area so it’s really really long drive to do back and forth in 1 day.

RU should offer to play a B1G road game there each year, to give the other B1G schools a chance to play there. It's the least we can do to help the B1G establish a presence in "the world's most famous arena." But no home games there - never!
Playing two games there every year there is a very good idea ...
I'm fine if like Michigan they give up a home have for there too.

Are you hinting that RU is playing in Jimmy V next season? Or the Gotham classic which is this weekend. Those are typically the only 2 MSG December college games
The first questions is, provide more about RU playing in MSG next year. Can't find anything about that. Second, no to an away game at MSG.
Because it's a recruiting tool to be able to say you if you come to our school, you will play games at MSG.
