If you watched the game or attended it, Starkville self-destructed in the 1st quarter. They looked like us. Their QB put the ball on the hands of every receiver wide open for touchdowns and they all drop the passes. Madison could not gain a yard and Starkville controlled the game. But the Madison Central running back broke a tackle on his own 10 and ran about 70 yards and then the young QB tossed a TD pass, Madison led 7-0. Then, Starkville moved the ball at will once the receivers caught the ball and scored but missed the PAT, 7-6 Madison Central. Both defenses played solid in the 2nd half until Starkville kicked a field goal and took a 9-7 lead but it was all Madison Central from there. Young QB for Madison will be a D-1 prospect. Luke Altmeyer for Starkville is the real deal but had no help and the Starkville offensive line can't block at all.
