The injury may still be bothering him. Thankfully Colin has stepped up. And Kellis has been swinging well enough to step in at DH if needed.
It is a slump. It has happened to the best that has ever played the game. The player has to play through it. Might be a good idea to let Colin catch today and Macon DH taking the catching pressure off of him. It would also help if he would take some pitches to right field and not try to pull everything.
My mistake, I thought he was catching again. Should have been paying closer attention.
We need a vintage postseason Gallaher performance as well. His defense has been great but super inconsistent at the plate.
This... it's no different than the people here who wanted Hull benched when he started the season 2-22.
Wonder if this is true. Forbes answered a question about him on Thursday that indicated he was healthy and ready to catch if needed
Macon does not appear to be far off. He is fouling a lot of pitches straight back which means he is just missing barreling it up.
