Excuses and more excuses... you are good at that.... Frankly our record is better against the JV division.... but not as good as it is against UNC..
We're not on here crying over who we play. And we're the ones with the SOS. You guys even got the better bowl imo lol!

How many titles would State have across the board if it weren't for Swofford and the far-reaching influence of the powers that be at UNC? 😂😂

Are you Heel fans surprised by this.

Said a minute ago on TH Illustrated that it was 50/50. He needs a fresh start somewhere else or go pro and maybe get drafted on potential or get picked up as an undrafted free agent. 1 INT in 3 years and made a lot of business decisions with regard to tackling. Great kid with a lot of potential, just needs to put it all together.

Tommy Knox Offense is better than anything EF has seen thus far, so stop. Hough played them. He has more Championships than EF's entire staff put together. I don't know if EF defense is better than Mallard Creek or Chambers. If you weren't such a fanboy, and actually knew how to analyze you

It's more than a couple of million and Ohio State is aggressive. Could still end up as I predicted, start his third year at Alabama (but not after being behind Bryce Young).

Injuries derailed Mark Maye's career. Thumb injury in the NC Coaches East v West game, a knee, and shoulder in college. He has to be thinking what an injury can do.

The only thing about Bama is how much does Saban believe in Ty Simpson. He was a 5 star highly rated to 30 player in the country in High School last year

Who knows what may happen. I want what is best for the players but I think the transfer portal may end up being the worst thing to happen to college football.

Would agree. A lot players want find a new school and it hurts high school players not getting power 5 offers. May be time for D3 to start giving scholarships for sports and letting D2 and FCS schools have more scholarships. It’s expensive to go to some of these D3 schools and they have a huge endowment most of them.

The transfer portal and COVID zero year really hurt the high school recruit. Some of those players lost their senior season (in some states) or had it modified and then did not get the type of offers they would have. The player already in college got a one year gift. A smart player at a really good school can get a tremendous education with six years / 12 semesters and summer school.

With Phil Longo leaving for Wisconsin who would be a good OC Mack could go after.

Littrell and Riley would be good fits. Attractive job with Drake there, albeit, for just one more year. Never got the feeling Mack and Phil were that close. The air raid offense will always put up good numbers but they could never get anything going in the red zone against stiffer competition.

I am shocked Luke Fickell is taking Longo as is OC at Wisconsin. Shocked!

They've been friends since Phil interviewed for the Cincy OC position years ago. A chance to be the only air raid offense in the B1G had to be pretty appealing for Phil.
I have been to Madison in November. Bit tough to be swinging it around but always doable. I understand friendship but I figured Fickell would have a lot of options. Pretty much the staff will get two to three years there which is nice for an assistant and their family.

Game seems to trending a little bit back to traditional pro style offenses built around the run. I think Drake would be better off with that type of OC. Not talking Iowa 3yds yards and cloud of dust stuff, but NFL scouts HATED Longos system. Especially with Sam Howell.
