I’m listing our nine losses in order of pain to me….if you don’t care, so be it…
9. OSU… clearly better than us… we played pretty well
8. Michigan… see above
NOW… that does not mean I’m happy about those… but expected.
7. Michigan State… road game…
6-4.Minnesota , Purdue , Wisconsin … put them in a bag …about same feeling
3. Oklahoma… had a chance!…. Believed we could pull it off
2. Iowa… IOWA…15 point lead… come on!!!
1. Illinois… strange choice but to me set the tone… same old, same old…

thoughts??

yeah, it was a season of sighs

hopefully frost can keep alot onboard, fill the holes, and get wins next year

Spartan Husker, you are spot on. I wouldn’t change a thing in your list of pain. I went to that Illinois game wanting to not only win but to thrash Illinois. Huskers should have won the game by 21. That set the tone. Effort was there. Something was missing.

Minnesota easily the worst. Michigan finally convinced me we were good. Thought we’d crush Minnesota.

I agree with your list except I would move Michigan State to #3. That was the most dominant second half of defense, until the punt. Plus, I was there and ready to celebrate!

As I said in another post, had we had a good and solid OL and ST's, we're 11-0 and win this conference and there is no speculation about it.

Were winnable games and should have been wins I can’t believe Nebraska did not win these 3 games
Nebraska should be in a bowl game

Michigan State and Michigan hurt the most for some reason. I was dead inside about soon after that
