That's your opinion. Of course it's not a typical year but this team is very young and interesting. We should not have lost to Newton, or pisgah. The Durham game was close until two touchdowns on bad snaps. Two turn overs against Reynolds. Basically our record could easily be different but that's not the point. Watch what the cougars do the last 4 games of conference play. Reynolds is in the driver's seat but we will have a lot to say. Watch and see. I promise you that.
Asheville won the the MAC in 2002,2003,2005,2006,2007,2008,2009,2010,2011,2012,2013,2014. Last year we came in third and this year is off to the worst start in decades, so I'm just calling it like I see it. I hope we win every game and nothing would make me happier to see us win our next 9 games. But I'm not going to sit here and see pictures of players on the team TEXTING DURING PRACTICE and then be like "you better look out for us. We might be 2-4, but we are coming on strong now". Luckily our schedule gets a little easier from now til Erwin. If we could beat Erwin, maybe win a playoff game, that would mean the season wasn't a complete disaster. However winning a playoff game is going to be a tall order since we are likely going into the playoffs as a 10-16 seed.
