Hendo threw the ball 46 times tonight.

That is with a running clock in the second half. ACR pulled the starters at the half.
ACR could have scored 100 I believe.
Coach laws called of the dogs and let the starters rest and give the backups some much needed reps. Hendo kept their starters in all 4 qtrs. I guess they were looking to work on some stuff against our subs.

Hendo had 3rd and 10+ five times tonight. Their QB was sacked 5 times. He does throw it well though. They were 4-12 on 3rd down.

Polk county did that to us last year. Kept their starters in the entire game throwing deep passes on our 3rd team down 35 points. Eventually they got so close we put the starters back in and scored again but I personally thought it was incredibly classless

True about Polk County.
When people ***** about their 3rd string son not playing it's because of coaches like that. The Head Coach had the gall to tell their local paper the comeback was against Asheville starters!

Lol. Have you forgot the teams Erwin has already played? We have seen much better than anything you will show us. It doesn't matter. Erwin fans have been very humble on here this year, yet Asheville fans seem to want to critique Erwin's every move. In all honestly with Asheville schedule Erwin would be undefeated too. I don't get what your issue is. Cougar90 seems to be the exception. He is a class act.

What ever. Our schedule is consistent and tough every year. Unlike Erwin. I can't wait till November. You slide through last night and you know it. That all ends on Friday.

I would really like to see Maryville play sometime. They are the best program in Tennessee and own that state. Seems like nobody ever challenges them. Ootlewha is really special too. Their defense continues to dominate. In a side note, Mt Paran is undefeated and blowing people out.

I've never bashed Erwin, I just thought playing tough teams they'll dominate Franklin which wasn't the case, I've never talked bad about Erwin and u know it BD. IMO I thought Erwin would have been a lot better, November is along time away, and Erwin may beat us but not from what I seen last night

Wilkins will never hardly schedule anybody we could see come playoff time, that's why we played west Knox, elizabethton in the past etc.. U will see Wilkins schedule tough 4a teams or teams like u just named that are good in they class. And of course u always add a beat up game like the Q, in case of losses you need to get the kids confidences back up.

BD Erwin is still learning how to get to the mountain top. From what I saw last night we are going to beat you up front defensivel.

Erwin's D line an backers were very small to me. Franklin had great success running to the left side, Pete leota should have a field day

Ashevilles non-conference schedule isn't quite as tough as Reynolds or Erwin this year, but it doesn't mean we have an easy non-conference schedule.
Newton, Carver, and as we've seen, Franklin, would give Erwin all they wanted.

Cougar, 42 hurt his leg during the Ooltewah game. He wwill likely be back next week or two.

No offense to Asheville, but I much more worried about Reynolds. They look like the best team in the conference this year.

I actually think you guys match up better against Reynolds because they run the spread and Erwin will be able to utilize there speed. The fact of the matter is against a pound you in the mouth team you guys are to small. You better be glad Franklins running back got hurt. Oh, I taught Cameron Connors how to hit like that in youth league and middle school. BD don't worry about Asheville you better worry about the Rockets.

I can promise you that Asheville does not pound the ball like Mt Paran who had numerous D1 players on the line and a better rb than anyone in wnc. You know what is sad, you say coached these kids from Erwin then you come on here and bash them. You are a loser.

That's not really a fair statement BD. We haven't played Mt. Paran and Erwin has never played Maryville. Anything we say about Erwin vs. Maryville or Asheville vs. Mt. Paran is comparing apples to oranges. Unless Asheville and Erwin ever play the exact same non-con schedule in the exact same year the points are moot.

Asheville has a better running game than Franklin and Franklin seemed to have plenty of success running the ball.

Just be thankful neither Asheville or Erwin play Maryville. That's one animal neither of our schools want any part of. :eek:
