I couldn't have said it better. I am not a fan of just one team. I go to a lot of different games. I guess because I have posted a few times about TC they automatically think I'm a TC fan.
An interesting take, but correct me if I'm wrong:
1) NB outgained Erwin in both rushing (134-101 yards) and passing (295-252 yards) for a 429-353 yards advantage overall
2) NB and Erwin were tied at 20 after 3 quarters
3) NB lost by 2 (36-34) on a failed 2 point conversion.
4) It was on Erwin's home field.
If you think NB isn't going to give Asheville problems, I'm not sure how you figure Erwin is going to do much better. I'm not baiting or trying to put down Erwin, but I'm not sure that they're any better than NB despite hanging on for an extremely close win at home in a game where they were beaten in pretty much every stat.
FYI, I don't see either team beating Asheville.

The stats don't tell the story if this game. Erwin dominated the first half and NB made great adjustments in the second half. Taking nothing away from NB but the officiating was for lack of a better term was horrible. This was the 570 wwnc game of the week and the broadcasters were even baffled by the officiating. The lack of adjustments by us in the second half almost cost us the game. I do think NB will be competitive with Asheville and may win.
NB and Erwin could both beat us. I know I have given tc crap the last few years because they look huge and athletic and aren't any good but that's what this 2015 Asheville team plays like. Incredibly talented, good size and speed but act like they only play football so they can be popular and put pictures of themselves up on their Facebook account in their jerseys.
Come on Cougar. Let's not start corinating Erwin and NB. Give us a little more credit. We have lost one game and last night was technically the only close game we have had in reference to the score. Everyone is going to give us there best shot. Everyone wants to keep talking about the Reynoldsl oss but everyone gets beat. Up until this year when was the last time we lost to Reynolds or anyone else around here. One you can say about the Cougars. We are consistent just about every year. We won. Every team can't say that.

Yea that's true. We haven't lost to another mountain team since 2012 so when we do everybody gets in 3 years worth of shots in while they can. However having said that, we have looked terrible this year and nowhere close to what I thought we would be.
Cougar, I'm not one to bash on here. We all lose and at times don't play our best but, when some come on here and talk smack every week, it's funny to see them quiet down! Especially when we're told to "shut our mouths" and "who cares about Erwin." Nice to see some humility in their recent posts!!!
I have been off doing better things than responding to a big mouth like you. Not sure how I have been humbled. You just worry about your own team. My whole is making plenty of money junior.

1st: When did I become a Tuscola fan? I've give them grief for years, I definitely don't think any of them would claim me.
2nd: What trash did I talk? I pointed out that Erwin shouldn't be talking about how Asheville would have no trouble with NB given that NB proved to be at least as good as Erwin (statistically, they were even better). Or do all Erwin fans think it makes sense to basically say "that team that outgained us and nearly beat us on our home field isn't very good, but you better watch out for us in 2 weeks"? LOL

Freedom had their *** beat four years in a row against us from 2005-2008 so he really doesn't have anything to say to us. Id be embarassed to draw any attention to myself if my team gave up 50 points to a 14 seed at home last year in the playoffs hahaha
don't worrie our Lil friends crest will take freedom out back this year, of course if they make it out the first an second round

Pats y'all don't belong on the same field with us in a scrimmage or in a real game. Remember when y'all lost 4 straight regular season games to us not too long ago? How pathetic is that? You couldn't even win one of the 4 games? Or how about the *** kicking we gave y'all and your runningback on y'all's field at the scrimmage last year? Your stud runningback was pouting so much because he was having his *** handed to him that he didnt even want to come on to punt to us. Although I don't want to brag too much seeing as how that pathetic garbage team y'all paraded out there against us couldn't even win a single playoff game at home. No matter what freedoms record is this year, y'all should be banned from the playoffs this year for letting a terrible 13 seed come into y'all's house and hang up 50 points on you. Although you can't really blame the freedom kids for losing to a 13 seed at home anyway, they are probably mentally devastated by living in such a filthy disgusting area like morganton. I heard bj emmons decommited from Georgia to go to Alabama because it's farther from that garbage dump of a place y'all call home. Say what you want about Asheville, but people come from all over the country to vacation and visit there. The only thing people do in morganton is pick up and deal drugs and travel there to watch their 13 seed football team rack up 50 points in the playoffs and then get out of there as quickly as possible before any of the residents breathe on them. You might remember that 2005 team of ours that went undefeated and beat y'all *** en route to a perfect season? Well just remember that even with an all American runningback that will never be you.
I get just get sick of the same ol crap every year. Asheville fans ripping Erwin when we played Reynolds much closer and Roberson about the same. Neither team is playing to our potential this season. I am very disappointed in how Erwin is playing but they are certainly capable of beating Asheville and vise versa. Asheville would be 6-4 with our schedule as well. They would not beat undefeated Mt paran. They certainly would have beat to Oootlewha. The might have had a chance against Science Hill and they got smashed by Reynolds. I am not knocking Asheville and they very well might beat Erwin next week, but to act like they are so much better is crazy Jumbob. I am really annoyed with how our coaches are approaching defense at Erwin so I have little to say about other teams. We just wont make changes. We have numerous fast kids on the sideline and they want to play these big slow lineman on defense. It is very frustrating to watch. There is no excuse for the way we played Roberson, Enka, and NB. None!

That is why all you guys from down there come to Asheville to vacation. That is why Asheville is named the #1 city in America to live in by good morning America. Morganton is a sh**hole. Just saying.
