He can’t throw downfield? He threw a touchdown pass on the moneyI must be the only one who doesn’t see Luke as a good QB. He can’t throw downfield and you can run the QB keeper only so long until the teams just key on him. He will get hurt too easily as shown already this year if he has to run too often. He should be a WR. Having him on the field with wandale and jd would be fun.
I have not seen enough of McCaffrey at the college level to say if he'll be a capable downfield passer. But, who are you comparing him to? We will see if Gebbia ever starts at Beaver State. He wasn't their starter this season. Maybe he will tear it up next year, I hope he does, seemed like a great kid.
