for sure. At least Luke will not play scared every game and not run out of bounds at the end of the games giving the other team more time to win the game. Luke also might be able to complete a pass every once in a while when we need it.

He won’t be. Frost is too stubborn. He was probably upset that McCaffrey’s throw didn’t fly 15 yards over the WR’s head. Wanted to stick it to the anti-Marti crowd

Clearly a winter at QB. Put on a few pounds of padding but stay fast. It damn well better be a legitimate qb competition next year. Otherwise Frost and AM might start getting bood out of the stadium and attendance starts to decline.

Ride or die with Martinez to six wins. Frost is all butthurt because of 96’. He’s said as much.

But I’m sure his offensive genius will shine thru.

Definitely needs to be open competition. McCaffrey looks solid and more talent coming in. Martinez is clearly not the same player as last year. Questionable decisions and missing reads at times. Open competition will make everyone better.

I honestly wouldn't blame them if there isn't fair competition. Why should everyone else have to complete for their spot if AM doesn't have to???

At the end of preseason practice, Frost admitted he was very tempted to scrap the plan to redshirt McCaffrey and allow him to play. Wouldn't be surprised if that's a decision he would like to have back. I've said for a while McCaffrey has a great chance to win the job this spring and nothing has happened to change my mind on that - certainly not Martinez's play, nor that duck Vedral heaved into double coverage early in the game.

I just hope there’s a Bona fide competition and not just hand the keys to AMart because we made the promise in a living room. Two disappointing years are behind us and we need to start winning games.

We may need to go back to run heavy, option heavy football. We have basically resorted to it right now, so we may as well make it our identity. All three QB’s we have can run the option pretty well, Held recruits well and we are struggling to get outside WR’s.

Mike gundy would have benched amart a la Bobby Reid at OSU.

Shouldn’t be about what anyone was promised or what they have done in the past, but rather what you can do now. Jerrod Johnson and tannehil is another QB situation that comes to mind.
