Simmons appeared to be playing point a couple possessions.. Kinda shows why some top players go to schools like LSU. They want to be a big fish in a little pond..

LSU may be legit but Kennesaw State is legitimately one of the worst programs in the country. Their highest Kenpom finish in the last five years is 316 and they finished 337 last year.
I saw Vandy in person Friday against Austin Peay and they are really good as well.
Ben Simmons is the real deal. It all seems to come easy to him. He's going to be tough to defend.
Simmons is legit. Gonna be hard to knock him off the #1 pick. Dude has such a similar skillset to Lebron. It will be interesting to see how he develops.
Watched a good bit, but kennesaw could barely dribble the ball without it bouncing off their foot.
Simmons and Blakeney can play. They seem a bit weak upfront besides Simmons and Blakeney might shoot them out of games this year.

LSU's schedule is so bad that we won't know until SEC play if they're worth a damn.
As how it should be. Every SEC school, home and home. Hardly possible, but the way it should be in SEC BB.
What is the purpose of 3/4 ( or less) conference schedule?
I think when it is all settled, Simmons is their primary ballhandler, playing the 1 on offense guarding the 4 spot on defense.
Their best lineup might end up being:
1 Simmons- guards the 4.
2 Hornsby- guards the 1.
3 Blakeney- guards the 2.
4 Quarterman- guards the 3.
5 Victor- guards the 5.

I think we'll compete just fine. LSU will lose games they're not supposed to lose and then play lights out against us.

Ah, I thought they were one of those we only played once. Oh well, that's gonna be a tough game then.
The purpose is getting to play more than two OOC games, which can't happen if we're playing a 26-game SEC schedule.
But yes, I do miss the days of the full double round robin.
That's what I saw. They have a lot of talent and that will overcome the lack of coaching. It looks like they play street ball. Reminded me of an "And 1" show.
Oh no, they made sure they scheduled UK to play the toughest SEC teams on the road. LSU, Vandy and A&M, we play all 3 on the road along with the normal teams we always play home and home such as Florida.
All I ask is that those teams, for once, please play everyone else with close to the same passion as they play with when UK is the opponent. It's sickening to watch these teams play out of their minds against UK then play like they don't care and almost lose to Auburn.

Not really. 1 title and 6 final fours is pretty damn good for a career so far that is not even close to being over. Winning national titles is hard, you should know that from having never won one in b-ball and getting your *** kicked by Bama in 2011 and shut out in a natty title game.
Partner is a GD train wreck. Memphis is averaging 11,000 in attendance so far. He has decimated the Memphis basketball program. Memphis is 1 of (I believe) 11 schools with multiple burger boys on the roster. Anyone who thinks cal can't coach, there's your proof.
