LSU Covid

[NWADawg]

Per this article, LSU has O linemen out on quarantine. New coordinators, lots of new personnel, especially a new QB. This has to help our cause if we can stay healthy.

Absolutely, if we play.
I hope they all recover but maybe some of them will be really weak and slow to be back in game shape.

We've had the exact same issue. All teams have.

The players are being quarantined, does not mean they are infected with the virus. They may have been exposed to the virus only. If nothing else, they will miss two weeks of practice which could be a big deal.

Abbott’s $5, 15 min Covid Test will be a deal changer... available to public in October...

Hope it's reliable.

If there is anyway this gives us an advantage

The game will be canceled

True..... My son's high school team has had only 1 positive. 10 were "contact quarantined" the due to exposure to him. Since, we've "contact quarantined" 10-12 additional players due exposure, other than from the team. We went from June 1 til first week of school with zero problems. I'd say 85% of the team is on completely online now, with close to 100% of the seniors & starters online.

It may end up being cancelled, but let's hope they keep us hanging right up until kick off.

We're state fans. We live in hope!

Even if they are positive that doesn't mean they will get sick.
