There's usually just one guy that goes off. We were #1 weren't we against the 3? But that's for the whole team. We just can't stop everyone in big games it seems.

Seems Loyola is getting some post up moves on K State with their center; so we definitely need to develop our big men next year on how to post.......

Loyola is a team of good fundamentally sound players with some athletes

I tend to think UK sometimes gets more athletic freaks than solid fundamentals like passing, screening, team defense

And if you play half court grinders it plays into more experience basketball favor

You have create more possessions to rely on superior athleticism, trap press, transitions

Loyola is a good team that can beat anyone. Just looking at them play (they did beat #5 Florida) they can do it to you.

They added the point back for that 3.

52-33...........wow

I hate that we lost but glad Loyola might go to the Final 4. It's the only saving grace of this tournament where everything has gone wrong.

Just got to hope Kansas or Villanova/Texas Tech beats Duke on the way.

Blah blah blah we win if we hit free throws? We lost the game coming out and letting them go up 13-1

We’re 20 pts better and we let them come out and dictate their pace after that

GO pro young CATS if you’re satisfied with that result.

The other saving grace is the realization that we wouldn't have beaten this Loyola team anyways.

I'm now thinking our loss just saved us the embarrassment of getting our asses kicked by a low mid-major in front of a vastly larger viewing audience.

Get used to the tournament trending this way.

The OAD has indirectly leveled the playing field by forcing talent to spread out via kids looking at other schools coming out of high school as well as transfers seeking more playing time due to getting recruited over.

Nobody is walking through March with Freshmen and a couple sophomores, I don't care how blue blooded and elite they are...

We had the athleticism, we had the god given height but we did not have the IQ across the board nor simple basketball fundamentals

He’s not playing... Weber said he couldn’t play him knowing he may have a future in basketball

haha....a rival fan on another thread is bashing us for not playing Vando and praising Kst for playing Wade. I guess Webber realizes that wasn't so smart afterall.

It's looking like our loss saved us from that Kansas / VCU moment in an Elite 8 game.

We have better athletes they have better basketball players. Give me somebody who can put the ball in the hoop. If I hear Cal talk about wing spans next pre season I will scream. Our guys rarely even had their arms up playing D.

I'm confused. Didn't Loyola know that a grind out approach was the ticket.?
