I agree, FFS, these guys are hard to watch. That lost shot by Green, just laughable. We have size at every position, yet not taking it down low.

He has turned into a DECENT 3pt shooter. However, he is so fundamentally bad on defense bat he should only be playing 5 mins a game

I don't think Cal has established an identity for this team. Too many substitutions and maybe asking kids to do too much. Without elite PG and elite rim protector, Cal's teams' offense and defense both struggle.
Also, we are young.

they're physically weak so they can't defend or hold onto rebounds

they lack skill and can't beat their man outside of SGA sometimes

and all just lack awareness, it's incredible watching balls bounce right past them and guys cut to the basket wide open while we stare into space

I'm stunned that they were ranked so highly

Playing Knox outside.....throwing the ball around the perimeter...instead of posting up everytime and getting fouled or hi% shots in the paint.

Poor shot choices......Not playing with flow, rhythm....Forcing shots and not executing a strategy/play.

Repeatedly grabbing offensive rebounds and jabbing the ball at the rim instead of making a dunk. We are "too" young for this college game.

It used to be we would be able to get a basket and or a trip to the line by driving sga when ever we needed it. We don't use that the last few games now we just run hand offs at the three point line until someone takes an ill advised jumper.

I don't know, Nick Richards is pretty bad too. Every game he lets people practically walk to the rim.
