Ummmmmmmm.......Army was 3-9 that year, so that's not saying much.

A cold and snowy night at West Point. Teel had a thumb injury, had trouble gripping the ball and threw a couple of interceptions. Enter Jabu.

That was some miserable weather. Snow, sleet, freezing rain. It was bearable in the first half in the end zone with a lot of bodies together. As RU pulled further ahead in the second half, the crowd thinned out and the temp became unbearable. Had to leave with two minutes to go, which is unusual. Went back to West Point this past season and it was absolutely pouring rain. Not a good track record for me. The other time there was sunny and warm, but a close loss to Army in ‘86.

It was before halftime but was still an adventure.

I knew it was going be an issue and an interesting ride once the time of departure was mentioned and the actual route they decided to use on the way up.
