Quick story for you...this just happened today matter of fact. Went into a local CVS to get some gift cards for some co-workers (Amazon). Buying 3 100.00 gift cards right? Clerk asks to see my I.D.
So I asked why? He tells me we have to scan it and verify your purchase with the card you're using to make the purchase in an effort to cut down on fraud. Made sense...this time of year folks steal credit cards and exchange them for cash or gift cards. right. So I whipped out my I.D. and hem scanned it.
Then I thought...isn't this something? I can't buy a 100.00 Amazon gift card without showing my I.D. but I can send in a mail in ballot or show up at a voting poll without having to show one?
Who do I thank for this totally fraudulent free election as a result of that stupidity?
