One thing is clear, the winning coach after this game is going to praise the opponent like they were the strongest team they faced all year. Fitz and Butch are bending over backwards in the mutual respect department. We are used to this with Fitz every game, but does Butch throw out compliments like this most every game?

We have a few coaches like Franklin and Hardballs in the B1G that are very easy to dislike. I am having a hard time disliking Butch. Aren't there any transgressions we can't poke fun at?

Is is normally very complementary of our opponents. It upsets some of our fan base when he talkes up cupcakes like Noth Texas or Western Carolina. Not saying that is the case here. I think they genuinely like each other.

I was fine until the Polish sausage comment...Butch is dead to me.

My family was discussing in shocked disgust this very topic at breakfast over a steaming bowl of grits and poke salat/eggs.

I'm from the South and even I recognize what a bad move the latter of those two is. Of course I have enough Chicago friends that have shared winter horror stories with me. I somehow have only managed to be up there in August.

Edit: Come to think of it, why is moving lawn furniture a bad thing to do? That one I've never heard.

Plows can't plow curb to curb because cars are parked on side streets. As a result, not only are parking spaces not plowed, they are often piled extra deep with plowed snow. So people earn their spaces, at least for a time, with the sweat equity of shoveling them out. They claim them with some otherwise seasonally useless lawn furniture.

It's widely if not universally seen as uncool (and risky) to move someone else's objects from "their" spot and park there, at least for a few days after a snowfall.

People shovel spots on the streets in front of their houses and apartments and "save" the spot using law furniture. Some people think you don't get to save spots. Other people think it's courteous to let people that shoveled out the spot and live right there keep the spot.

Personally, I think it's rude to save spots but I'm personally afraid of coming back tons keyed up paint job on my car so I don't move them.

I understood the claiming your spot with shoveling part, just not the maintaining that claim with lawn furniture part lol. Thank you for the clarification. :)

That is the highest and best use for grits. Low country South Carolina recipe. It is awesome.

But remember Yankees... When you are in the South at the breakfast bar, that stuff that looks like Cream of Wheat is not. Do not add sugar and syrup to it. That's just nasty.

I agree about Chicagoland. I always thought that sounded dumb. But the "W" issue is problematic.
