Are we? I see it they’re 15 pts better. We MAY be 5 pts better than NKU. But who even knows about that.
We laughed at them with Kenny Payne and now Mitch set the program back with Pope so everyone’s laughing at us. When Pope gets fired they’ll make the right hire next year. Kentucky basketball will make a comeback with the right coach next year
for some reason the staff thought they could assemble a top 10-15 roster on a budget. this is why a GM doesnt matter. there is no salary cap....its about the ability to write any check you want. pope isnt doing that, other schools are. and the results will reflect that. and it might be the norm once pope gets fired after this season. money just isnt there to build a 25M+ roster year over year.
If there isn’t a cap, there are still financial constraints. Regardless of pay, the GM still spearheads building the roster and all that entails. They talk to agents, fundraise, and create an offseason strategy for building a roster while the coach focuses on the day to day team needs while in season.
1 tournament win and it’s his 3rd year, absolutely no one is worried about UL or PK..

PK is not a good coach by any means. Please pinpoint what game he put on a coaching clinic???? What team have they beat that they were supposed to lose to???? Give me just 1 game where he made adjustments that led to victory???? I’ll wait….

They certainly aren't. Like I said in previous posts, they have Alani energy $ funding their recent portal spree. People who sold it are UL fans/boosters.
